CVAD STARS Masterclass series

About:

The CVAD STARS Masterclass series is designed to provide contemporary education for all healthcare workers involved in the care of vascular access devices in paediatric patients. The series provides an opportunity for participants to engage in a shared learning experience with peers and experts in the field of vascular access. The first Masterclass for 2024 will focus on preventing Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection (CLABSI) and will include presentations from the RCH’s Infection Prevention and Control team, the Director of Quality and Improvement and the team from the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.  The aim of the program is to empower participants to become local champions who will drive innovation and improvement in their area.
