Gender Diversity Day

About: The Royal Children’s Hospital Gender Service and Education Hub are excited to bring all health professionals a day of education from experts to assist with providing supportive care for gender diverse children and young people.

This engaging day will provide a range of speakers from the Gender Service, Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Orygen Trans and Gender Diverse Team, Transcend and Transgender Victoria and young people with lived experience. Presentations will include the value of peer support, the voice of trans youth, neurodiversity, speech pathology support, anti-conversion therapy laws, the latest research, working with families and a referral pathways panel.

This program will be recorded.

Date: Thursday, 30th May (enrolment closes on Wednesday 29th May @ 12noon)

Time: 9am to 4.30pm (registration will open at 8.30am)

Intended audience:All health professionals

Cost 

Onsite: $200 + GST to access attendance certificate, onsite parking and catering

Virtual: $150 + GST to access attendance certificate

CPD Points:  7.5 hours of education activities towards your CPD log.
