neoResus

About: neoResus is a specialised training program that has been designed to standardise the way in which newborn resuscitation is taught.  The program has been developed by the Paediatric Infant Perinatal Emergency Retrieval Service (PIPER) Victoria as an educational program around neonatal care.  The neoResus web site provides supporting information, it is strongly recommended you review the information on the website.

This learning package can be completed as a standalone module to increase your theoretical knowledge in newborn resuscitation. 

This learning package is the pre learning module for the face-to-face First ResponseAdvanced Resuscitation and Facilitator Workshop. Further information about the face-to-face programs at the Royal Childrens' Hospital can be found on the neoResus website.

Intended audience:  Clinicians interested in self-directed theoretical learning;

CPD points: equivalent of 3 hours

Non-invasive ventilation of the neonate in non-tertiary Special Care Nurseries

About: This clinical learning resource package has been designed to assist nursing staff (registered nurses and midwives) who are caring for newborn infants requiring nCPAP and/or nHF in non-tertiary Special Care Nurseries.

Includes: Learning module for nCPAP and nHF with inbuilt knowledge checks

Intended audience: Nurses and Midwives caring for newborns requiring non-invasive respiratory support

Cost: Free
